Yes! Speakers cannot participate in events for the purpose of fundraising, promotions, any type of endorsement or political activity.

Your point of contact will be connected via email to the U.S. Cyber Command staff to coordinate speaker participation in your event. It is crucial that your listed point of contact be prepared to answer questions and provide details in a timely manner.

Please submit your completed request form at least 30 business days before your event. You will be contacted via email with the final decision.

No! Fees will not be charged for U.S. Cyber Command leaders to attend your event.

In most cases, U.S. Cyber Command is responsible for travel expenses associated with speaking engagements. This is why careful consideration is used to determine appropriate use of government funds associated with supporting events.

Guidelines

Due to mission constraints, U.S. Cyber Command cannot guarantee approval for every speaker request. Please refer to the following guidelines and frequently asked questions to help with your request.

To request a U.S. Cyber Command senior leader speaker for your event, please complete the request form in its entirety – we cannot process your invitation until we receive a completed version.

If there are fields that don’t apply, please enter “N/A” – DO NOT LEAVE IT BLANK. Leaving any part of the form blank will result in non-submission. Please attach a current agenda (draft agendas are acceptable) for your event. Send the completed form and any other supporting documents to CDRInvites@nsa.gov at least 30 business days before the event (as the review process can take up to 4-6 weeks). Otherwise we cannot guarantee your invitation will be processed in time for a final decision.

NOTE: Submission of this Speaker Invitation Request Form does not authorize the requestor to use the name, title, photograph, or biography of the requested speaker or U.S. Cyber Command in any form of marketing materials. Official notification of acceptance or decline will be provided to the requestor upon completion of our legal and public affairs vetting process.

Official written notification of acceptance or decline will be provided to the requestor upon completion of our legal and public affairs vetting process.  If you plan to send out a press release or advertise an approved speaker, please coordinate with us for approval before releasing.
  • Speakers cannot participate in any activity that is associated with fundraising, promotional activities or endorsements, either directly or indirectly.
  • Speakers may not participate in any activity or event that has partisan political affiliation, pursuant to the Hatch Act of 1939.
  • Speakers cannot participate in any activity in which any group has been unlawfully segregated or unequally treated on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability, or genetic information.
  • Speakers cannot accept honoraria, stipends, or fees for speaking.
