Hack the Port 22

By U.S. Cyber Command Public Affairs

U.S. Cyber Command, in partnership with DreamPort, will host the “Hack the Port 22,” virtual and live maritime and control systems cybersecurity event in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida from March 21-25, 2022.

The event will feature speeches, lectures and panel discussions from government and industry leaders, as well as a cyber-competition with over 30 higher education academic institutions.

The majority of the events will be broadcasted live via www.hacktheport.tech/.

Hack the Port brings together partners and subject matter experts from across the U.S. Government, academia, and industry as one team to highlight the nation’s critical infrastructure and cyber defense priorities.

The keynote speakers for the event include:

  • Hon. Alejandro N. Mayorkas, Secretary Department of Homeland Security;
  • Hon. Chris Inglis, National Cyber Director;
  • Hon. Jen Easterly, Director, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency;
  • Lt. Gen. Charles L. Moore, Deputy Commander CYBERCOM

In addition to the conference events, the over 30 higher education schools that partner with CYBERCOM’s Academic Engagement Network and the National Security Agency’s National Centers of Academic Excellence will compete against each other to showcase their skills in the cyber domain. After the winners are declared, an “All-star Team” will be formed from the schools to compete against U.S. government teams.

Media interested in participating should visit and register via the event website at www.hacktheport.tech/hack-the-port-registration/.
