Partnerships are key to defending against a rapidly evolving threat landscape and assuring the United States' advantage for the long term, senior Defense Department leaders said.

A senior Defense Department official hosted government officials, academics and entrepreneurs from Indonesia for a discussion on how the Pentagon is aligning its cyber workforce strategy to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving domain. 

Mr. Michael Clark, deputy director of plans and policy at U.S. Cyber Command, presented a plan to integrate artificial intelligence into military cyber operations at AI Defense Forum, the annual defense and intelligence conference hosted by C3 AI, on Sept. 10, 2024. The AI roadmap aims to improve analytic capabilities, scale operations, and enhance adversary disruption.

The director of the National Security Agency says the agency's new Artificial Intelligence Security Center is paying dividends in the Defense Department's efforts to stay at the cutting edge of the rapidly advancing technology.
