Israeli Maj. Gen. Lior Carmeli, (left) chief Joint Cyber Defense Directorate (JCDD), Israel Defense Forces, shakes hands with U.S. Army Maj. Gen. William J. Hartman (right), commander, Cyber National Mission Force, during the closing ceremonies of Cyber Dome VI. This week, Cyber Protection Teams from both JCDD and U.S. Cyber Command participated in Cyber Dome VI, a bilateral, hands-on-keyboard defensive cloud-based training exercise. The exercise brought together joint defensive cyber operators from the two countries and involved more than 75 participants. Cyber Dome VI enables joint defensive and integrated actions within the digital training environment, with CYBERCOM and JCDD operators jointly working as both blue forces and opposing forces.
